My whole career in hospitality, started out of the idea of “spending some time thinking about which direction to take in my life”. The best way to do this, I thought, was by finding a fun job suiting my outgoing personality and in which to put into practice my language skills, whilst reflecting about my future.

 

I ended up in aviation! Being a flight attendant for Crossair, starting my career on turboprop single flight attendant aircraft. Soon I was flying the full Crossair fleet and instead of thinking what I wanted to do in life… I understood that THIS was my future!

 

I took a break for a couple of years, in order to pursue my studies at EHL (École Hôtelière de Lausanne), from where I successfully graduated in 2001.

 

After a short excursion into the luxury hotel industry, the worldwide skies got me back. For almost ten years I hosted UHNWI, Head of State, Royals and selected guests from the film and music industry, on board narrow and wide body private jets, operated by a Geneva based global leader in private aviation.

 

Being naturally ambitious and curious to further develop my skills, I made my way to become a Senior Cabin Crew and a member of the interview and selection team for the above mentioned leading branded operator in the private aviation industry.

 

I put my feet back on ground after almost a decade of flying, for three years, collecting experience in sales and marketing, working first in the medical diagnostics field and later for a premium brands tour operator.

Missing the skies, the aircraft, the people contact and the smell of kerosene, I ventured back into aviation and got the great opportunity to become Head of Cabin Crew and In-Flight Services for another Swiss leader in corporate aviation, with a cabin crew base of over forty employees and one of the global industry largest wide and narrow body aircraft business jets fleet.

 

In this role I was able to put into practice all my hospitality expertise and discerning taste. I was involved and gained an in depth knowledge of all aspects of in-flight services, starting from aircraft galley design and completion, to designing the full range of on board products and service, including soft and hard skills customer service training, and developed my ability to punctually and precisely select candidates for the role of VIP flight attendant on different aircraft types, based over the five continents, meeting individual owners and operational needs and requirements.

 

Having grown up in Ticino, the Italian part of Switzerland, and having extensively travelled the world, I am fluent in five languages, Italian, German and Swiss German, English, French and Spanish.
